  • Tour Summary

We visit Alberobello’s Trulli Village and then Polignano di Mare.

At first there didn’t seem there was very much to see?

Going down what we thought was the Main Street!

A miniature Trulli house!

More houses

More streets

It went on.

Views across the roof tops towards the main town.

The roof tops kept coming

The streets longer!

This women kept getting in the way of my photo.

Wouldn’t take the hint?

The end wasn’t nigh!

It seemed endless?

Then I spied part of the reason for coming -

With multiple choices, it gets better!

We then find the viewing terrace.

Which according to Gino di Campo has the most photographed views in Italy?

So we did.u

All 360 degrees!

Every place has a street busker even Trulli village.

Next door to the the Trulli Church.

At last we had discovered Trulli’s Main Street.

Soon to discover -

It was really tourist ally.

With lots of shops

People

More people.

Signs!

The car park we couldn’t find!

And of course restaurants and Caffe’s.

Sunday Scooter clubs - no Postman seen?

Corky where are you?

At least tourist info albeit in Italian, made for the iPad translation camera?

A local map, Alberobello is bigger than envisaged.

COLLEEN where R U?

Polignano di Mare center a nice statue to be admired.

It was very busy, being sea side and Sunday everyone was there, parking a real challenge!

Polignano - part of the shoreline.

After finally locating the Trulli village in the South part of Alberobello we were amazed at how big it was!
